Is this open for dine in??
If you are looking for fancy, this ainβt it, but if you are looking for an authentic Grand Junction breakfast stop where the βreal peopleβ go, this is it. I love Pufferbelly. It is a hugely popular place to go to for breakfast and lunch (closed for dinner) for a myriad of reasons. #1. It is right alongside of the railroad tracks and it is pretty cool to watch the trains come and go #2. The food is very good and it is served in GENEROUS portions. #3. The wait staff is friendly and efficient. #4. It has a down home feel. Rows of the coffee mugs of the βlocalsβ are stacked on shelves for their use on their visits. #5. Who wouldnβt want to choose from their great βsidesβ menu, which includes huge cinnamon buns and pancake stacks?Itβs definitely family friendly. Tourists should take one morning to walk in the opposite direction of Main Street to venture into this land of deliciousness.
MoreExcellent place! I will be back when I'm back in the area. Almost went multiple times while we were visiting. This place has made it onto my favorites list. Staff is very friendly and considerate. Very much a small hometown feel. This goes as far as the fact that they let regulars keep coffee mugs there. These types of places are a rare find anymore. I took a risk on crepes as it's been a long time since I've had quality crepes. I wasn't disappointed. They were delicious and hit the spot. Also shared a homemade cinnamon roll which was superb! Everything was top notch from service to the food. Really enjoyed it here!
MoreStayed in town for the first time and found this breakfast spot on a whim. So glad we went here, everything was amazing but especially the biscuits and gravy. Good service as well.
MoreFantastic service from the hostess and our waitress!! Food was great! Super fresh and appealing! The berry crepes and the cinnamon roll were among the best I've ever had! When in town we will return for breakfast everytime!
MoreHuge, delicious breakfast. Make it your only meal of the day. Love the cinnamon roll.
MoreThis place is a must see. We came in 10 minutes to closing time and they welcomed us in with smiles and didn't rush us along at all. What about the food?...you might ask... well the food was amazing. Very large portions, cooked excellent and at the end of the meal they surprised us with 2 huge cinnamon rolls to go for Free....Dont for get to bring your own coffee mug for a discounted coffee and the will hang your cup up and keep it safe for your next visit.
MoreDelicious food, excellent service! Be ready for a wait as they are busy, but they're busy because that's how good the food is. Make sure and ask for Bobette, she definitely takes good care of her customers.
MoreEverytime I travel to Grand Junction I have to eat here! Excellent breakfast spot that has never disappointed. The food is delicious and the portions are huge! I like the Arvin's Green Biscuit with New Mexican green chile, it's very filling and the green chile goes so well with the rich gravy, cheese, and biscuits. The giant Cinamon roll is absolutely delicious....dough is amazing with just the right amount of sweetness, and then a dollop of butter on top. We like to order one before our meal and split it with the kids.
MoreGreat food, service and love the atmosphere. Great for both adults and kids
Favorite breakfast in townStaff is nice.Fun atmosphere, kid friendly
Always good service. Always plenty of food! Could use an update in decor...
We loved it! When the waitress found out it was our first time here she gave us a cinnamon roll for free! It was huge and SO good! The portions are huge! I had a 2 egg breakfast with a biscuit on the side and it was more than enough! And I can eat a lot.
MoreBreakfast was good, service excellent, the cinnamon rolls were excellent.
Best chicken fried steak of my life. Huge servings good service and small town vibe
MoreFood is amazing! The service is awesome. The only reason I have this place a 3 is because of the very large, loud mens Church service that had to take place in the middle of the restaurant. I love God but seriously I just wanted to eat without listening to a bunch of old guys taking about their beliefs. Couldn't even have a conversation. It was awful!
MoreWe come through Grand Junction once a year and we always make this one of our stops! Great food and great service. Thank you!
MoreLots of food! Cinnamon roll was a choice with each breakfast item. The server was excellent!
MoreThe portions are very big so you leave very full! The only thing was I got a cup of coffee and there was some roast beef in it. Sort of put a damper on drinking it π hence the 3 stars. The wait staff were amazing and really helpful and personable.
MoreReally good breakfast and lunch place. Great atmosphere, service and big portions of food.
MoreThis place is LEGIT! I like a big hearty breakfast & the CFS skillet did not disappoint. Server recommended a biscuit, & it was probably the best biscuit I've ever had. Sad to say it's better than my hometown biscuit place. Oh well. I'll stop here whenever I'm in Grand Jct.
MoreCame in close to 1pm and wanted Breakfast. It was delicious. We had the normal; eggs, bacon, ham, hash browns, toast our friend had an omlet made special to his order. 2 eggs onions, mushrooms with avocados on top, biscuit and jam. Everything was very good.
MoreI've been coming here since I was a child and now everyone I take here falls in love! Huge homemade portions for a killer price. Love the cinnamon rolls and hobo breakfast.
MoreWe live in steamboat springs, been to junction many times for work and business over the years, being a breakfast nut, for some reason, this is my first time eating here, I will not eat breakfast anywhere else in junction again, geat service and food! Thanks you guys!!!
MoreAmazing! Lots of food and all delicious! This is a must! Thank you for the wonderful service and food.
MoreAmazing place for breakfast.. love the train decor such a cute place. Excellent service and they were very busy l. The food was excellent full of flavor and very good sized portions. Hard to leave any on your plate as it was so good . Will be back !
MoreDelicious breakfast, kind stuff
Awesome place! The food was phenomenally good, and the live trains rumbling by were fun to experience. The place was quite busy, but all the waitresses acknowledged us with a smile and the coffee level in my cup never dropped. I highly recommend coming here! !!
MoreWe ordered take out breakfast Saturday 8-1-20 I ordered the green supreme the hash browns were awful they were pretty much mashed potatoes there was barely and green chili or gravy on it I was not impressed I ended up throwing away most of it this was my first time eating there and will be my last
MoreI would like to thank the staff for managing the rush of lunch rush. And putting the 12 people that attempted to jump in front of us in their place. Our meal was excellent. My mushroom Swiss hamburger was cooked to perfection. One minor issue was the crammed corner table but still an experience although it would have been nice to see the trains outside.
MoreYummy breakfast and they follow COVID guidelines. If you forget a mask, they sell them at the front.
MoreMy father was a switchman/brakeman/conductor for the D&RGW R.R. He was away from home a lot and had told my siblings about the restaurant in the train station in Grand Junction he would eat at. My sister who lives in the area told us about it and that the atmosphere is really cool if you're into railroads like our family is. And let me tell ya!!! They didn't disappoint!!!! Their cinnamon rolls are HUGE and made from scratch, hot and delicious too!!! Cinnabon ain't got nothing on these guys! Their omelettes are delicious as is their chicken fried steak. Definitely a place I will bring my kids back to for great food and for the nostalgia. I would give 10 stars if I could!!!!
MoreFood: Amazing. Service: Amazing. You only think you've eaten a cinammon roll before. Doesn't matter if you live here or just passing through town, stop here and eat, you will not regret it.
MoreGreat service. Friendly staff. Has great prices and a good menu. Good atmosphere and deco.
MoreHighly recommend. Cute place with large portions. The Hobo is great, but I don't recommend the French Toast. The bread is so dense it doesn't soak up and of the egg.
MoreThis is the kind of diner I love to go to when on vacation! Portions are huge, cost is just right, service is friendly, and everything was delicious! No, we couldn't finish everything here...but we wanted to!
MoreI tried not to order too much breakfast before the train trip! This was 1 biscuit with gravy! Amazing food & great service!
MoreFood was excellent. Price, plate size, taste, excellent 5 star worthy. Staff who sat us was quite rude. Other staff around seemed rude. Our server was nice, better than the rest. However the restaurant seemed fairly run down. Low maintenance? Bathroom had only one working sink and cold water. Paper towels were jammed and after I told the staff, they did nothing about it.
MoreGreat service and food! Family Friendly environment!
Popping little breakfast spot. Well worth it there cinnamon buns are huge. let you build your breakfast just how you like. One of those places I feel like I got more than I paid for. Servers are great & friendly. Variety of seating arrangements to suit your taste.
MoreGreat food, large portions very friendly staff and has that where "everybody knows your name" atmosphere.
MoreMy wife and I had an awesome breakfast! Wonderful service, great family friendly restaurant. We were able to customize our breakfast orders precisely how we wanted and the food came out hot and delicious. They also have some of the biggest and most scrumptious cinnamon rolls in town, could be a meal in itself. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly, and the prices are not out of control for the portions you get. I would highly recommend Pufferbelly to both visitors and locals alike.
MoreGood prices, lots of food for what you pay. Great staff and atmosphere.
The food was pretty good there, and it was decently priced. The service could have been better for sure. But it was a good place to have breakfast. Has almost the same menu starvin arvin has.
